The Bio Wave Filter is a high quality, energy efficient, and high performing filter, designed to preserve the delicate useful bacteria during backwash, and to provide a large surface area for the bacteria to live and flourish. The Bio Wave Filter utilizes a special backwashing technique using a blower system that agitates the water to produce tumbling during backwash. The blower pushes air into the water to cause each individual Bio Wave Media to mix and tumble. This results in cleaning old bio flocks that are attached to each piece while preserving the useful bacteria within the filter. The Bio Wave Filter backwashes remarkably with any low amperage pump. |

Using our Wave pump with the filter uses biological media which is also self-sufficient; you never have to change the media and it come with 90% biological.
Available in three sizes, each has a radial diffuser. Standard feature include:
Rinse cycle - pre-rinse floating media in its normal filter cycle right after a backwash and discharge the rinse water to the waste line. Bottom sludge-drain - allow heavy sludge and settled waste to discharge from bottom of the filter without disturbing the media. Filter bypass - allow complete isolation for the filter media from your pond without disturbing normal water flow. |
